Reading Sanskrit adopts a gradual approach to introducing Devanāgarī. To meet the needs of teachers who prefer to introduce Devanāgarī from the very beginning or at a brisker pace, this second worksheet offers Devanāgarī versions of the exercises from lessons 1 to 9.

Ancient Chinese Translations

When Buddhism spread to China, many of the works used in Reading Sanskrit as sources for examples and exercises were translated into Classical Chinese. Readers familiar with that language can download the collection of ancient Chinese translations below.
